Child Safety Standards

Our commitment to preventing Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and keeping our community safe.

Last Updated: April 30, 2026

1. Our Commitment

iPerspective has a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind. The safety and well-being of minors is our highest priority. We are committed to creating a platform where all users, especially young people, can participate in meaningful discussions without risk of abuse, exploitation, or predatory behavior.

iPerspective strictly prohibits any content or conduct that sexually exploits or endangers children. Violations will result in immediate account termination and reporting to the appropriate authorities.

2. Prohibited Content & Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on iPerspective and will result in immediate action:

Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any imagery, video, or other depiction of a minor engaged in sexually explicit or suggestive activity, whether real or computer-generated.

Grooming: Any attempt to build a relationship with a minor for the purpose of sexual abuse or exploitation, including soliciting personal information, arranging private contact, or sending inappropriate messages.

Sexualization of Minors: Any content that sexualizes minors, including inappropriate comments about a minor's appearance or body, sexual jokes directed at or involving minors, or requests for sexual imagery from minors.

Sextortion: Any attempt to coerce, blackmail, or threaten a minor using real or alleged intimate imagery or information.

Trafficking: Any content or conduct that facilitates the trafficking or commercial sexual exploitation of minors.

This list is not exhaustive. Any behavior that endangers the safety of a child on our platform is grounds for immediate enforcement action.

3. Platform Safeguards

iPerspective employs multiple layers of protection to safeguard minors on our platform:

Age-Based Room Assignment: Users are placed into community rooms based on their age group and geographic state. This ensures that minors interact primarily with peers in their own age range, reducing the risk of contact with adults who may pose a threat.

No Direct Messaging: iPerspective does not offer private one-to-one messaging between users. All interactions take place within community rooms where activity is visible to other room members, providing a layer of community oversight.

User Blocking: Any user can block another user at any time. Blocked users are permanently prevented from being placed in the same room, eliminating further contact.

Community Vote-to-Kick: Room members can initiate a community vote to remove a user who is engaging in inappropriate or harmful behavior. This empowers the community to self-moderate and quickly remove bad actors.

In-App Reporting: Users can report other users directly from their profile for any concerning behavior. Reports are reviewed and acted upon promptly.

4. Reporting & Response

We encourage all users to report any content or behavior that may involve the sexual exploitation or abuse of a child. Reports can be submitted through the following channels:

In-App: Tap on any user's profile and select "Report or Block" to submit a report directly within the app.

Email: Send a detailed report to safety@iperspective.app with any relevant information, including usernames, descriptions of the behavior, and screenshots if available.

All CSAE-related reports are treated as the highest priority. Upon receiving a report, we will:

  • Immediately review the reported content and account
  • Preserve all relevant evidence
  • Suspend the reported account pending investigation if there is credible risk
  • Report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via CyberTipline
  • Cooperate with law enforcement as required by applicable law

5. Enforcement Actions

Violations of our child safety standards will result in one or more of the following actions, depending on the severity:

Immediate Account Termination: Any account found to be involved in CSAE will be permanently banned without warning. All associated data will be preserved for law enforcement purposes before account deletion.

Content Removal: Any violating content will be immediately removed from the platform.

Reporting to Authorities: Confirmed cases of CSAM or exploitation will be reported to NCMEC and relevant law enforcement agencies. We comply fully with all mandatory reporting obligations under applicable law.

Ban Evasion Prevention: We take steps to prevent terminated users from creating new accounts to circumvent enforcement actions.

6. Law Enforcement Cooperation

iPerspective cooperates fully with law enforcement agencies investigating child sexual abuse and exploitation. We will respond to valid legal process and may proactively report suspected criminal activity involving the exploitation of minors. We preserve account data and evidence as required by law to support investigations.
