iPerspective was built by one person with a simple belief: social media should bring people together, not drive them apart.
Why I built iPerspective
Hi, I'm Shane—the founder and sole developer of iPerspective.
I built iPerspective because I noticed something broken about social media: despite being more "connected" than ever, people feel increasingly isolated. We scroll through feeds full of strangers, chase followers who don't really know us, and mistake likes for genuine connection.
I wanted something different. A place where you could find people who actually think like you—not just people who like the same content, but people who share your perspective on life. People who would get your jokes, understand your struggles, and maybe even become real friends.
So I started building. Every feature in iPerspective was designed with one question in mind: "Does this help people form real connections?"
The 10-person community limit? That's intentional—small groups mean everyone gets heard. The 3-day refresh? It keeps things fresh and gives you regular opportunities to meet new people. The perspective matching? It's how I help you find your people faster.
iPerspective isn't backed by a big team or venture capital. It's just me, building something I believe the world needs. And I'm just getting started.
The principles behind iPerspective
10 people who get you beats 10,000 followers who don't. Small communities create space for real relationships.
No filters. No highlight reels. Just real people sharing real perspectives and finding others who understand.
Your data isn't the product—you are the user. I built iPerspective to connect people, not harvest information.
I read every piece of feedback. iPerspective grows based on what real users need, not what investors want.
I'd love to hear from you
